Here's a great example of the kind of e-mail I love to receive after a broadcast.
I just have to tell you about this.. it was too good to pass up.
My daughter and I were driving in the car while Whole Lotta Love live was on. You don't find many 12 year old girls that can enjoy Led Zeppelin like mine does. But I guess I raised her right... We were enjoying the song, and I was playing air guitar and just having a blast in the car! She plays air guitar too.. and air drums..
We stopped at a light, and I was still Jamming along, when my daughter starts saying "Dad... Dad... DAD look out the window!!" I looked over and there was a guy in the next lane jamming along looking over at us.. it was like being at a Zeppelin concert on Route 1 in NJ. We exchanged the Ronnie James Dio hand signal (the horns) and kept banging our heads as we drove away. My daughter almost died laughing... what a great experience.
Thanks for playing the whole song. I explained to her all about the Theremin, the old analog Echo Chamber Jimmy used, and at the end when John Bonham was hitting the gong, that they would light it on fire.. what a wonderful time it was to grow up. the seventies rocked! THANK YOU for keeping the spirit of Zeppelin alive!!!
Rock on,
ps - notice that my initials are LED? How could I not be a fan of the mighty ZEP!!!
